Research Methodics in the Dissertations of the Master. This blog will look at the research methodology in the dissertation of a master. This is not a full academic lecture on research methods that would take several hours! However, there are examples of what is needed, and a structure that follows.

Three things that are included in the research method, chapter

Here are the three essential elements that you need to contain in the research method in Master Dissertation Capitel.

• show that you understand research methods
• condition, which research methods you use for your research
• justify why they have chosen these methods

It is important to note that these three should be present. It is also useful, write down what is not required in this chapter: -

It is not necessary to display a full academic understanding of each existing research method. This is not a literature review about research methods! Everything that is required is an overall understanding of research approaches and justification for your chosen method.

Different Research Methods

There are two basic approaches to academic research:

• Inductive Research (Below Up)
• Deductive Research (top down)

Inductive research begins with observations where patterns are identified that proposes a new theory. Inductive research is about finding new theories from existing data. While deductive research begins with a theory and proposes a hypothesis and observes that this is confirmed.

These two approaches are a primary consideration at the beginning of the Chapter of the Research Method.

Second, there are two (three) main research species of research.

• Quantitative - Numbers, Data and Potential Statistical Analyzes
• qualitative - opinions, understanding, motivations
• mixed methods (a combination of both)

Quantitative research includes numbers and data that can be displayed in tables and graphics. This may be analyzed with statistical analysis. If you go down this path, you may need to understand populations and pattern sizes to justify that your data is representative.

Qualitative research is about opinions, understanding and motivations. It offers rich and contextualized information about the topic.

What is your research method?

In this chapter, the project manager must specify the methods you use for your research. Further information depends on the selected research method:

• interviews - who interviews her? How many interviews? Which jo rolls? Is the interview structured? What are the questions? Where did these questions come from?
• questionnaires - how do you collect data? What are the questions? Why are you asking these questions?
• case studies - why these case studies? How did you find that? Why not other case studies?

All questions should arise from the chapter of the literature review chapter to ask questions. The questions have to be rooted somewhere.

Now we have to consider some information about the data collected in terms of:

• reliability - if someone else would ask the same questions, the result would be the same
• data validity - why should the results believe? Do we really measure what we want to measure?

If you have selected your research method, you must examine these conditions to demonstrate that you understand them, and that your research method is sound.

Justify your chosen research methods

is now the time to justify your research method. There are several ways to approach this point:

• Why is the chosen method best for this research?
• Why are other research methods not so appropriate?
• What are the advantages / disadvantages of your selected and other research methods?
• What are the strengths / weaknesses of your chosen method and other research methods?

Please remember that a major requirement of Master Research Master Research is a critical rating. Evaluate its chosen research method critically.

Preload in Research Disposition

After all, you may need to be aware of the preload in your research. We have already checked that the title is not biased in an earlier blog. However, it could be a substantive preload in your research approach:

• because the data can simply collect
• You are standing with a specific result
• unconscious selection of questions or interview candidates to commit the results

You should definitely specify how to avoid tendency in your selected research approach.

This is not a full lecture on research methods, but an example of what the research chapel must contain. This includes an understanding of research methods and the selection and justification of the selected research method.
