However, when they get into my class in the middle school, however, they have written at least one personal narrative every year for several years. They are looking for something new to catch their interest again, so instead of writing them about their own experiences, I open my students to the fiction writing.
To create this excitement, I turn to technology. These five tools can be used as center activities, expansion tasks, or only opportunities for students to explore new areas within the typeson. We tried a variety of technology tools for writing, and these are the favorites of my students.
Story speaker (Google Docs add-on): Story speaker allows the students to create SELECT-YOUR-OWN adventure stories that use a Google Home Smart Speaker or any device can be integrated with Google Assistant. The Google Docs add-on contains a template that you can edit to create your story. You can add details and dialogs and make your readers when you read. For example, a student could create a situation in which a sign must decide between links or right, with different scenarios after each decision.
As soon as the story is written, students can share it with the class. The story is read according to the smart speaker or other device, and when it comes to the character for the character, the class can speak loudly.
